We’re looking for a rock star, Inside Sales professional who can come in, learn fast, grow quickly, and drive results. The Inside Sales Representative will utilize their passion for food while interacting with some of the best chefs in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate loves food and loves selling even more
Brings a lot of energy, enthusiasm and ambition to work with a strong desire to work with chefs.
Has 1-3 years of sales experience a plus
Proven experience in the food industry whether its restaurants, hotels, or caterers, you know about food.
Strong record of success in whatever you have done
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Quick learner, data-driven (we're selling analytics), highly inquisitive
Loves crushing sales goals

Responsibilities:

Sell by phone, 85% of the day is spent on the phone, building and maintaining relationships.
Inform customer of items not ordered or out of stock and suggest/ sell additional items over the phone.
Work with customer service and outside sales team on reporting irregularities, problems and requests for outside sales assistance.
Deal professionally on the phone and in person with customers, vendors and fellow employees.
Cross departmental collaboration with operations, distribution, customer service and other members of the sales team to ensure the customer receives an excellent level of service.
Assist with processing special orders and customer price lists.
Attend inside/outside sales meetings and take part in sales activities, as needed.
Additional projects or tasks may be assigned as needed.
