Dear NGO Colleagues,
Responding to the difficulties that many of you face in getting registered with the Haitian government, the NGO Coordination Support Office, along with three of your NGO colleagues, have met with Mme Joseph, Chef de l’Unite UCAONG (Unite de Cooperation des Activites des ONGs) in the Ministry of Planning.
At our weekly NGO Coordination Meetings, a number of NGOs that have navigated the registration procedure have shared their advice. The following document is a summary of what your colleagues have learned. Remember, though, the only authoritative and official information is that published by the Government of Haiti (see links below NGO Registration Form).
The following document
NGO Registration Form is from "Le Ministere de la Planification et de la Cooperation Externe ("MPCE")/ Ministry of Planning". The last three pages can only be used to obtain authorization from the Mayor's office. This document above contains both the instructions (including a list of all supporting documents needed to complete the dossier) along with the application form.
