Frequently asked questions on the Education Cluster Rapid Joint Needs Assessment (RJNA), February 2010

The Global Education Cluster has developed a Needs Assessment Toolkit for use by country-level Education Clusters.  The tool is split into two:

  • the short form should be used to collect critical information during a rapid joint education needs assessment, typically within the first 72 hours to one week after the sudden onset emergency - French and English versions, draft Oct 2009)
  • the full toolkit should be used to design and conduct comprehensive joint education needs assessments in new and ongoing emergency situations - full IASC Education Cluster Joint Education Needs Assessment Toolkit (draft in English only, Oct 2009)
